First off, we all know that this movie is a horror film, but how horror it is? That's the issue here. If you can't stand The Ring & Ju-On, then you don't have to worry, Densen Uta is not that kind of a movie.

If you can watch the Death Note Trilogy, then you will do fine with this movie.

When I saw the trailer of this movie, it really spook me out, but as I drew my courage to watch the entire movie, most of the scenes from the trailer are just comedy scenes and explain the true meaning of Densen Uta.

There are scenes like above where the lesser *youkai are revealed and Sayaka was not afraid to search for them in a small tunnel way.

There's this scene where Sayaka made a weird gesture sign, but she still looks cute doing that!

As I watched this movie, I just kept on laughing at the comical plot that was taking place in the film. I was really amazed at AKB48 girls, especially in their acting skills in this movie. They were flawless, especially Yuko Oshima, Sayaka Akimoto & Haruna Kojima.

The Suicide Song is very powerful as shown in the scene above, where this sane guy suddenly went suicidal.

This film is the best, why? They killed off the 2 most popular girls from AKB48, I laughed at the Nuooooooooh! remarks by the Wotas!

Luckily both Saaya & Miichan didn't die.

Towards the end of the film, I sorta shed some tears because the suicide song was actually a love song, the curse was all a misunderstanding, that's why people are supposed to just forgive, forget and move on.

This films Theme Suicide Song is titled Boku no Hana and also sang by ex-Team A member, Michiru Hoshino. She graduated with this beautiful song.

Densen Uta is directed by Masato Harada and the story written by Akimoto Yasushi (AKB48 Founder).

Movie Synopsis:
Anzu Natsuno (Yūko Ōshima), an ordinary student at an all-girls high school, is walking in the hallway when she is attracted by a mysterious melody coming from the auditorium. There, she finds her classmate Kana (Atsuko Maeda) singing and, much to Anzu's shock, commits suicide right before her. A few days later, Anzu is approached by magazine columnist Riku Nagasei (Ryuhei Matsuda), who is investigating an urban legend about the Densen Uta, or the infectious song, that turns whoever sings it suicidal.
In order to verify the urban legend, Riku convinces Anzu and her friends to sing the song, which they reluctantly agree. Soon after, one by one, the girls begin to kill themselves.
