Densen Uta, Suicide Song, 伝染歌

First off, we all know that this movie is a horror film, but how horror it is? That's the issue here. If you can't stand The Ring & Ju-On, then you don't have to worry, Densen Uta is not that kind of a movie.

If you can watch the Death Note Trilogy, then you will do fine with this movie.

When I saw the trailer of this movie, it really spook me out, but as I drew my courage to watch the entire movie, most of the scenes from the trailer are just comedy scenes and explain the true meaning of Densen Uta.

video

There are scenes like above where the lesser *youkai are revealed and Sayaka was not afraid to search for them in a small tunnel way.

video

There's this scene where Sayaka made a weird gesture sign, but she still looks cute doing that!

As I watched this movie, I just kept on laughing at the comical plot that was taking place in the film. I was really amazed at AKB48 girls, especially in their acting skills in this movie. They were flawless, especially Yuko Oshima, Sayaka Akimoto & Haruna Kojima.

Above is the pic on the films Correlation Chart

video

The Suicide Song is very powerful as shown in the scene above, where this sane guy suddenly went suicidal.

This film is the best, why? They killed off the 2 most popular girls from AKB48, I laughed at the Nuooooooooh! remarks by the Wotas!

Luckily both Saaya & Miichan didn't die.

Towards the end of the film, I sorta shed some tears because the suicide song was actually a love song, the curse was all a misunderstanding, that's why people are supposed to just forgive, forget and move on.

Above is a scene where the Suicide Song turns into a Love Song

This films Theme Suicide Song is titled Boku no Hana and also sang by ex-Team A member, Michiru Hoshino. She graduated with this beautiful song.

Above photo is Michiru Hoshino singing Boku no Hana at her graduation stage. Her stage name, Michiko Goi is used in the film and on her one and only Single - Boku no Hana!

Above is the full music taken from Boku no Hana Single

Densen Uta is directed by Masato Harada and the story written by Akimoto Yasushi (AKB48 Founder).

Movie Synopsis:

Anzu Natsuno (Yūko Ōshima), an ordinary student at an all-girls high school, is walking in the hallway when she is attracted by a mysterious melody coming from the auditorium. There, she finds her classmate Kana (Atsuko Maeda) singing and, much to Anzu's shock, commits suicide right before her. A few days later, Anzu is approached by magazine columnist Riku Nagasei (Ryuhei Matsuda), who is investigating an urban legend about the Densen Uta, or the infectious song, that turns whoever sings it suicidal.

In order to verify the urban legend, Riku convinces Anzu and her friends to sing the song, which they reluctantly agree. Soon after, one by one, the girls begin to kill themselves.

Saya meets Saaya

First off, there's an interrelation between the Blood The Last Vampire character Saya with my AKB48 Saaya.

Notice the photo above where both Saya and Saaya in the movie High-Kick Girl! are wearing the almost similar typical Japanese High School Girl Sailor Uniform.

Also notice that both of them have the same pigtailed hairstyle.

The only difference between them is that Saya uses a Katana to KILL whereas Saaya uses her Aikido Skills to FIGHT.

Above pic is Saya from Blood The Last Vampire posing in attack formation.

Next photo above, this time it's Saya from Blood+ and Saaya in the movie Super Gore Girl are wearing the almost identical 20th Century Japanese High School Girl Sailor Uniform.

The hairstyle now is different as this modern day Saya now has a new hairstyle, a shortcut, whereas Saaya let's her long hair loose.

I really wonder how Saaya will look in a shortcut, maybe like Sae's.

The same difference between them is that the modern day Saya still uses Katana to KILL whereas Saaya this time uses firearms to KILL!

Above pic is modern Saya from Blood+ posing in another attack formation.

I'm beginning to fall deeply in love with Saaya now, as she resembles 2 of my most favorite Anime Characters, Natsuki Kuga from Mai Hime & Saya from Blood The Last Vampire.

Now I will review on both movies that Saaya has acted in.

The first movie review is Seishirayuri Kishidan: Super Gore Girl which was released on the 9th May 2009 and directed by Hisao Tabuchi.

Movie Synopsis:

When the world war 2 ended, the old social system was still prevailing outside the central city in Japan. Surrounded by the beautiful forest, fountains, and flowers, there is a ladies high school where the school policy is the same since before the war. For the most of the students, fighting is not the unacceptable thing. Unlike those students, Sachiko enjoys peaceful life in the bible reading club where Yukie is in charge of the president. In reality, Sachiko is the only person who enjoys the peaceful school life, and the students committee advances the Red revolution. Shoko,, takes the revolution into practice just when she becomes the president of the student committee. She uses her subordinates to burn out the chapel and the teachers room, and hanged the sisters. The suppression affects the bible reading club as well, and their activity is now nothing but drinking tea. However, the true power of the club turns out when the further suppression leads to extermination of the club. They are the fighters to maintain the tradition of the school and innocence of the ladies. They are called "Sei Shirayuri Kishidan"

The bloody gun fight begins among Kishidan and Red revolution fighters and also the boys fighters Shoko gathered.

The last movie review is High-Kick Girl! which was supposed to be released on the 30th May 2009 but the movie will now be shown on the 6th June 2009 with English Subs in the Japan Cinemas and produced by Masaaki Mizuno of Shaolin Girl!

Movie Synopsis:

"A high-school girl named KEI (aged 17) joins a karate dojo. Kei is born with extraordinary athletic ability and she quickly outshines the boys. Her status in the dojo rises quickly as her abilities and strength helps her to even defeat men. Despite her accomplishments, the master MATSUMURA does not award her the coveted 'Blackbelt'. It is clear that Kei always plays to win and only cares about kumite (fighting). Matsumura tries to teach Kei that Karate is about more than just fighting and that 'the real strength is in the kata (forms)'. Kei grows impatient. She feels that she possesses the skills and deserves her blackbelt. Kei will do whatever she has to do to get it. ¶ Kei's resentment towards Matsumura grows. She decides to join a rival fighting group called KOWASHIYA (Destroyers) at the advice of her boyfriend. Kowashiya will allow her to use her fighting skills and to earn money doing so. ¶ Kowashiya consists of masters of martial arts who simply destroy their targets, both body and soul. The leader of Kowashiya lures fighters who are struggling for money as there is no guarantee of a promised future, fame, money or stability for fighters like them. Kei becomes deeply involved with Kowashiya until one day she discovers the true purpose of the leader of Kowashiya. He is planning an attack on her master Matsumura. ¶ Kei is shocked and decides to warn Matsumura. But now, it is too late. The elite fighters of Kowashiya kidnap Kei and are on their way to destroy Matsumura. ¶ Matsumura, who never fights in front of Kei, now stands to save Kei. At last, the ultimate fight begins..."

Blood The Last Vampire, Live Action Movie

This review is not about the Anime but the new Live Action Movie that's going to be released on 11th June 2009. All I can say is that Blood has always been one of my favorite story that revolves on Vampire Evolution.

As usual, there are always changes bound for Live Action Movies when converted from Anime, Manga, Books and other sources. In Blood The Last Vampire Movie case, Saya is not a half vampire but is actually a Pure Vampire that is one of the lasts of an extinct species, the other half is her Twin Sister, Diva which could be Onigen in this movie. Her father is actually her adopted father whom is a Noble French Archaeologists, not a Japanese Samurai but both also killed by Diva / Onigen, the motive to kill him is different.

Almost the rests of the storyline, characters, fighting skills, The Red Shield Organization, the main story taking place in the American Yokota Air Base located in post-WWII Japan, and later the supposing final battle with Diva/Onigen at the Vietnam War before Saya is transported into the 20th / 21st Century.

Korean Actress, Gianna Jun will be acting as Saya in this movie, how well she acted as Saya, I will blog later here after watching the movie

Below is the photo of Saya acted by Gianna Jun

Above is the photo of Saya with the Red Shield Organization, her supposing backups!

Let's just hope they don't change the name of the organization.

Above are some extra still-scenes from the film.

Overall, this movie should be better than the disgraceful Dragon Ball!

Before we move on to this movie synopsis, Cathay Cineplex Damansara a.k.a. Cineleisure have opened up an invitation to Blood The Last Vampire Party on 10th June, hours before the Preview of the Movie Screening starts.

The Event will start from 7.30pm and the dress code are supposed to be vampire inspired costume or other spooky attire. I'm gonna wear Pure Black on that day.

There's going to be performances from beyond the grave, a cosplay competition and a blood thirst feast (dare challenge).

Here's the Movie Synopsis:

On the surface, Saya is a stunning 16-year-old, but that youthful exterior hides the tormented soul of a 400-year-old 'halfling.' Born to a human father and a vampire mother, she has for centuries been a loner obsessed with using her samurai skills to rid the world of vampires, all the while knowing that she herself can survive only on blood like those she hunts. When she is sent onto an American military base in Tokyo by the clandestine organisation she works for, Saya immediately senses that this may be her opportunity to finally destroy Onigen, the evil patriarch of all vampires. Using her strength and her sword, she begins to rid the base of its evil infestation in a series of spectacular and elaborate showdowns. However, it is not until she forms her first human friendship in centuries with the young daughter of the base's general that Saya learns of her greatest power over Onigen may well be her ability for human connection.

Purchases from Yunnan, China Trip, 2007

2yrs ago on November 2007, me and my family went to visit Yunnan, China. On that month itself, it was friggin' COLD even in the South of China. Crazeeeee!

That's right, Yunnan is located South of China, a bit close to Taiwan. Visited many cool places in Yunnan and saw many great establishment that one of my Ancestors made almost 2,000 years ago. He brought prosperity to the land through his governance, sadly he died early of old age due to overwork as a Prime Minister of that time.

Anyway, the photo above is taken when both me and Uncle Eric, one of my grandfather's friend hitch a Super *CHOU long lift ride that stretches 4KM from the Peak Entry Point all the way up to the Snowy Mountain

Will blog about my experience in Yunnan, China once I find back the pictures.

Above is my purchase from a stall peddler in Yunnan, China where the item is a hand sewn handphone pouch, a great souvenir to buy back and distribute to my peeps & followers. The peddler was selling RMB 10 for 10 Pouches, equivalent to RM 5. Very Cheap Indeed!

My next purchase is this replica of my Ancestor's Fan which he used during the war as he strategizes his attack plans. His Original one is a Pure White Fan that is now kept as a National Treasure in China's Museum. The funny thing was, I wanted to buy at first, the shop peddler wanted to sell it for RMB 45, as I decided to walk away, I was pulled back by the shop peddler and the price then kept going down. From RMB 30, all the way to RMB 20, I was still not interested in buying it and then Uncle Eric came to resolve the problem, he asked the shop peddler to sell it at RMB 10 but the peddler refused and offered RMB15, we decided to leave, then the shop peddler yelled out that he'll sell it to me for RMB 10.

Wah! they are really desperate for sales, Uncle Eric told me that we should have pushed up to RMB 5, but I told him to leave it be, as I respect the craftsmanship and design of Kong Ming's Fan.

I'm just worried that my Ancestor in Heaven would complain to me later when I went up to Heaven.

My final purchase from Yunnan, China was this DVD on the Dance + Play of this famous Dancer in China, Yang Li Ping. I didn't know she was that famous, until Uncle Eric told me about her history + background. We went for one of her Dance Play and I can informed you that, it was spectacular, the Theater House was separated into 2 sides, one for locals and the other for *Gaijins, like me and Uncle Eric. The whole theater was packed and filled with both locals and *Gaijins, I met some French Tourists and I conversed with them before the Dance Play start, Uncle Eric was confused, he didn't know I could speak French. I can speak some basic French, the rests is understanding their facial expressions and gestures.

I was enchanted with Yang Li Ping's Dance, and I've decided to purchase the DVD of her Dance Play but sadly they don't sell her Theater Versions, and so I went to buy the Mixed Dance Plays around China Stage for RMB 15. I saw some *goodies in the Video Shops.

Some China *ahem Nude Videos of Models + also China Porn, they were selling at the price of RMB 25 - 50, very cheap but I thought to myself, if I brought them back to Malaysia, Kastams Malayisa would surely confiscate and worse taxed me as well.

So I didn't buy them in the end.

Very 1st Amazon Japan order with Mike

Recently I have been going through my collection of Original DVDs + CDs Entertainment Shelf and I just couldn't resists but wanting to blog on my very 1st purchase from Amazon Japan with my best friend, Michael Low.

Above is the photo on my purchase

The items that I have ordered are Morning Musume's Musical Theater - Ribbon no Kishi Box Set & H!P Gatas Brilhantas - Banzai! Futsal. At first I thought that the H!P Gatas Brilhantes - Banzai! Futsal was on their Futsal Match but it's actually their documentary.

Above is the Morning Musume's Musical Theater - Ribbon no Kishi Box Set Front Cover + Mini Photo Album, I really love this box set, it's truly a spectacular collector's edition and did I mention that this Musical Theater is AWESOME!

Above is the Morning Musume's Musical Theater - Ribbon no Kishi Box Set 3 DVDs packaged inside

Above is the H!P Gatas Brilhantas - Banzai! Futsal Front Cover Back Cover

All I can say is that money was well spent on Morning Musume's Musical Theater - Ribbon no Kishi Box Set and not on H!P Gatas Brilhantas - Banzai! Futsal.

My 1st Japanese Album, Puffy AmiYumi, Hit & Fun Regular Edition

Last year when I was still working as a contract staff at MacCity 1Utama, I was itching my hands away to buying some Original DVDs and Music CDs in 1Utama, the reason is simple, I was already getting bored of working for MacCity especially with a Chinaman Boss like Mr. Cheung and his very emotional + sensitive uncle, Ah Foo.

Maccity at 1Utama

I thought by shopping in 1Utama would get me back in the mood to work but it only worked for me until early this year. I bought this Puffy AmiYumi Album, Hit & Fun Regular Edition for RM 59.90 from Tower Records

Tower Records had closed down early this year.

Above is the photo of the album

Above is the photo of the album back

As seen in the photo above, this album is an Asian Version, not a Japanese Version. It's stated that this Album is for distribution outside of Japan and there's even an expiry date on it.

So far I find that this version isn't as bad as it looks as this version comes with a thick booklet.

I just recently checked on CDJapan and the price in yen for the regular edition of this album is 3059 Yen which equals to somewhat of RM 110+, shipping costs, excluded!

I can only say that in this case, I got a good buy from the local music stores in Malaysia. However they do not sell Limited Editions and First Press Versions. That's one of the setbacks that they have!
